Role description
Shift 1ST SHIFT Mode Of Work Hybrid: Hollywood office, Monday–Thursday onsite. Location: Universal City, CA 91608 β€’ β€’ Requirements OR Gathering OR Elicit β€’ β€’ SQL OR tableau OR SSRS β€’ β€’ Migration β€’ β€’ IAM or Identity or Duo or security Job Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data using statistical techniques, implements and maintains databases, gathers data from primary and secondary sources, and identifies and interprets trends from the data. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. The Data Analyst will adhere to SOP’s defined including best practices, data compliance and governance and technology decisions. The Data Analyst will work closely with data architects, third party partners, as well cross functional teams to deliver large and complex solutions that are efficient to sustain and foster the maturity of company’s data insights. This Data Analyst will primarily be aligned to a Cyber Security Platform program that enables fast detections, advanced correlation, easy investigation, historical analysis and threat analysis. Essential duties and responsibilities: MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 40% OF TIME β€’ Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. 30% OF TIME β€’ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. β€’ Filter and β€œclean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs. 20% OF TIME β€’ Identify and define new process improvement opportunities. 10% OF TIME β€’ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities β€’ Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Individual contributor.
