Client Details
My client is a well respected not for profit organisation based in Bristol.
They are searching for a Business Analyst to support with the rollout of a new corporate strategy, focusing on people, process and systems.
This is a 12 month FTC with hybrid working.
Description
• Map out the experiences of service users and supporters to better understand their interactions.
• Evaluate internal support functions, workflows, and digital systems.
• Document existing operational methods, technologies, and team structures.
• Explore current challenges and areas for enhancement, identifying inefficiencies and potential improvements.
• Convert organisational needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Define measurable and realistic business outcomes, ensuring they are tracked throughout project delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams to shape and implement change initiatives.
• Foster agreement and shared understanding among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Support leadership in making strategic, evidence-informed decisions.
• Work alongside project and operational teams to help deliver planned improvements.
• Assess the impact of implemented changes against expected goals and benefits.
• Deliver training and capability-building sessions on business analysis practices across the organisation.
Profile
• Brings over two years of hands-on experience in business analysis, with exposure to both purpose-led and commercial environments.
• Skilled in evaluating and improving internal operations across functions such as HR, finance, IT, and governance.
• Comfortable working within both structured and adaptive project frameworks, including Agile and waterfall approaches.
• Proficient in gathering and interpreting data using tools like Excel and Power BI, and applying techniques such as journey mapping and process redesign.
• Experienced in facilitating workshops, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and presenting insights in a clear and engaging manner.
• Holds formal training in business analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
• Understands key principles of data protection and information governance.
• Adept at using visualisation tools (e.g. Visio) and requirement documentation techniques (e.g. user stories).
Job Offer
• Salary of up to £45,000
• 12 month fixed term contract
• Hybrid and flexible working
• 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays plus birthday leave
