Role description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail to support a range of upcoming strategic initiatives. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions, with a key focus on vendor implementations and support of renewable energy projects, including wind energy.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in the systems analyst discipline, possess hands-on experience translating complex business needs into actionable system requirements, and bring strong collaboration and communication skills to a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Act as a consultant to internal business partners on technology and process solutions.
β’ Facilitate discovery, development, and implementation of viable technology solutions by working with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners.
β’ Lead and document requirements workshops, translating business needs into functional specifications and test cases.
β’ Work hands-on with internal and external stakeholders during vendor system implementations.
β’ Write functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and conduct gap analyses.
β’ Create and execute test cases and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
β’ Write basic scripts and work with technologies aligned with .NET framework.
β’ Interface effectively with developers, QA analysts, business SMEs, and project managers.
β’ Provide regular updates to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
β’ Train users and support personnel on new or updated system functionalities.
Must-Have Qualifications:
β’ Experience with vendor implementations β actively participated in or led multiple successful vendor system rollouts.
β’ Proven experience developing detailed specifications from business requirements, supporting their implementation by development teams.
β’ Hands-on experience as a Systems Analyst in a professional IT environment.
β’ Strong scripting ability and understanding of .NET technologies.
β’ Structured, methodical Systems Analyst skillset, including:
β’ Requirements elicitation and documentation
β’ Workshop facilitation
β’ Use case and user story creation
β’ Testing and QA collaboration
