Business Analyst

Technical Business Analyst (Hybrid, 3x onsite in Arlington, TX, 12 month Contract to Hire) Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial technology organization, is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team. The Technical Business Analyst will partner with business and technology teams to support complex business processes, issues, and projects across multiple applications and platforms. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, supporting enhancements, and ensuring cross-system solutions are aligned and traceable through delivery. The analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to maintain a strong understanding of business processes and integrated systems. What type of experience does the right candidate have: • 3-5+ years of experience in an IT environment performing business and technical analysis. • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills. • Experience with UAT/User Acceptance Testing and facilitating workshops. • Prior experience supporting JML or Identity-related initiatives in a banking environment. • Azure DevOps familiarity. • Process mapping/flow diagrams. • Gap analysis and root cause analysis. • Power BI exposure. What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: • Facilitate definition of scope and objectives based on business needs and cross-system impacts. • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. • Support planning and coordination of business solutions in alignment with organizational strategies. • Perform intermediate level analysis to creatively solve problems and support development, QA, and UAT activities. • Lead requirements elicitation sessions with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, architecture, and business teams.
