Mission-Driven Work – Support impactful initiatives involving fire safety and public safety power shutoff programs using innovative tools and data Diverse Collaboration – Engage daily with business teams, architects, data analysts, and QA professionals Hands-On Learning – Expand your experience with drone data, GIS, Unity, and system integration platforms Structured but Evolving – Work primarily in a Waterfall environment with occasional Agile exposure Your Role & Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering and documentation efforts across cross-functional teams Create and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix and other audit-ready artifacts Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning and case execution Document user stories, business processes, technical flows, and test scenarios Facilitate and document meetings, capture key decisions, and manage stakeholder alignment Maintain structured project documentation to support compliance and collaboration Collaborate on projects involving drone data collection, GIS integration, and safety analysis workflows Skills & Experience You Should Possess At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a utility or regulated environment Strong experience with: Requirements elicitation and documentation Traceability and stakeholder sign-off processes Test planning and UAT coordination Meeting facilitation and documentation Technical competence with Excel (including data manipulation and reporting) Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage scope and expectations proactively Bonus Points If You Have Experience with system integration, data migration, or cloud-based platforms Familiarity with GIS systems, Unity, or drone-related technologies Hands-on experience using Jira or similar task tracking tools Exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies CBAP, PMI-PBA, or other business analysis certifications Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field Education & Certifications You Need Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field preferred Business analysis certifications are a plus, but not required What We Offer At Trissential, we believe impactful work deserves meaningful rewards.
