β’ Location: Hybrid out of San Jose, CA 95110 (Preferred). Remote (PST Preferred)
β’ Hours: Part Time (4 hours per day Monday through Friday preferred)

Overview
β’ Our client is seeking a highly capable Business Analyst to support and optimize the Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday Recruiting.
β’ This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering and testing and will act as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition Operations to drive system integrity, scalability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead discovery and design sessions to translate business needs into actionable requirements
β’ Perform impact analysis across Workday Recruiting and downstream integrations to ensure scalable solutions and minimize risk
β’ Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle including test strategy, plans, scenarios, scripts, and defect management
β’ Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations to support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
β’ Perform basic configuration within Workday Recruiting including:
β’ Business process modifications
β’ Notifications and alerts
β’ Questionnaires
β’ Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
Qualifications
β’ Strong experience with Workday Recruiting testing required
β’ Basic experience with Workday Recruiting configuration required
β’ Deep understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes and workflows
β’ Experience with QA/UAT methodologies and defect management
β’ Ability to perform system impact analysis across integrations and downstream processes
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
β’ Ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
β’ Experience working with HR systems, integrations, and SaaS platforms
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
β’ Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, and analysis
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
β’ 5 to 8+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Technology, or Business Systems Analysis roles
