Role description
Trident Consulting is seeking an "Business Analyst 3" for one of our direct clients. The client is a global leader in business and technology services. Job Title: Business Analyst 3 Location: Pomona, CA – Hybrid (2 days onsite: Monday & Tuesday) Pay: $35/hr – $38/hr on w2 Duration: 12 Months Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Role Overview β€’ The Business Analyst 3 will support operational and inspection workflow activities by performing data analysis, stakeholder coordination, constraint tracking, and reporting to ensure efficient execution of field inspections and compliance-related work. β€’ This role requires strong experience in data management, SAP, reporting tools, dashboards, and cross-functional coordination, along with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to resolve operational and data issues. β€’ The analyst will assist with inspection tracking, access coordination, data validation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives while supporting ongoing SAP / S4HANA / data transformation efforts. Key Responsibilities 1. Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Coordination β€’ Act as main point of contact between contractors, customers, and internal teams. β€’ Coordinate inspection appointments and resolve access-related issues. β€’ Track customer permissions, notifications, and approvals. β€’ Use Customer Contact Information (CCI) tools to schedule inspections. β€’ Maintain records of inspection constraints and access challenges. β€’ Support process improvements related to access management. β€’ Track performance using reporting tools. 1. Constraint Tracking & Exception Processing β€’ Identify access constraints related to CROPS, government lands, or restricted areas. β€’ Create KMZ files and perform spatial joins using Excel / mapping tools. β€’ Create and manage work orders for vendors. β€’ Track constrained inspections and mitigate risk of non-compliance. β€’ Monitor inspection workflow and follow up on outstanding actions. β€’ Support development of data tracking tools. β€’ Provide status reporting to management. β€’ Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve inspection issues. 1. Data Analysis & Data Validation β€’ Validate inspection data in dashboards (SAS / Power BI). β€’ Identify discrepancies using SAP, InspectApp, EZYViewer. β€’ Work with IT and inspection teams to resolve sync issues. β€’ Monitor data quality and ensure accurate reporting. β€’ Assist in improving reporting tools and data accuracy. 1. Data Management & Reporting β€’ Develop and maintain data structures and reports. β€’ Perform data querying and validation. β€’ Build dashboards and reporting tools. β€’ Track issues from identification to resolution. β€’ Support workflow tracking and performance monitoring. β€’ Assist with SAP data cleansing and validation. 1. SAP / Systems / Tools Support β€’ Work with SAP work orders, maintenance plans, equipment data, and FLOC. β€’ Support SAP transformation / S4HANA initiatives. β€’ Assist with data cleansing and validation. β€’ Use ArcGIS to combine map layers and generate data tables. β€’ Support SQL / Python / reporting tools as needed.
