Senior Business Analyst Lead Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in either Lansing, MI, Saginaw, MI, or Grand Rapids, MI Max Pay Rate: $47/HR. Employment Type: Contract (6+ months) We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst Lead to support a high-profile Solution Program. This is a large-scale IT modernization effort with significant visibility across the state’s investment portfolio. The role blends business analysis and program-level project management, working closely with leadership to drive coordination, decision-making, and change management across multiple workstreams. Key Responsibilities: • Manage scope, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedules across program tasks • Collaborate with project managers, business managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment • Coordinate resources and resolve or escalate project concerns • Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across matrixed teams • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively • Participate in Agile ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups) • Facilitate program change briefings, decisions, and scope enhancements • Track and follow up on business and vendor action items Required Skills: • 5+ years as a Senior Business Analyst, including matrix management experience • Proven experience in scope, requirements, quality, and test management • Strong organizational and multitasking skills across complex programs • Solid project management skills across design, development, and implementation phases • Deep experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies • Hands-on experience with project management and change tracking tools (Azure DevOps preferred) • Strong facilitation skills for change requests, approvals, and prioritization Preferred Skills: • Experience in government or large-scale modernization programs • Familiarity with UIA or similar unemployment insurance systems • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders #INDTS
