Role description
Job Title: Business Analyst 5
Location: Fully Remote (Preferred: Pacific Time Zone)
Contract Duration: 4 Months (Possible extension but need budget approval)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate Range: $50 to $55/hr
Key Responsibilities
Business & Financial Operations
• Review and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements
• Approve project structures, budgets, and expenditures
• Monitor costs against budgets and predict potential overruns
• Propose solutions to mitigate financial risks
• Prepare sub-agreements and review sub-consultant invoices for compliance
Program & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain project management processes (goals, timelines, metrics, budgets)
• Consult with corporate offices, auditors, project managers, and partners
• Manage partner meeting and event schedules
• Coordinate across global stakeholders spanning 3+ time zones
Business Intelligence & Reporting
• Develop and manage Power BI dashboards for executive and ROB (Review of Business) consumption
• Build and maintain Excel-based analytical models and reports
• Perform data mining, data cube development, and trend analysis
• Compile monthly execution updates for SME&C Security programs
• Update internal program landing pages with insights and metrics

• SQL / Data Cube Development: Data mining, summarization, and insights generation

• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Expert time management and ability to work independently
• Proven resilience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
Must-Have Experience (Top 3 Hard Skills)
• 5–10 years of experience with Power BI (dashboard development & analysis)
• 5–10 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and data cube development
• 5–10 years of experience in data mining, summarization, and business insights
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience required
