Your Role & Responsibilities
Lead current/future state analysis and support solution implementation for modernization initiatives
Elicit and document requirements using interviews, workshops, storyboards, and analysis models
Write clear, concise, and unambiguous requirements specifications
Conduct data analysis, mapping, and documentation of data needs
Create user story maps, write user stories with acceptance criteria, and manage product backlogs
Facilitate refinement sessions, sprint planning, and discovery workshops
Translate business requirements into system/functional specifications for developers
Coordinate business validation and manage requirements traceability
Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate across teams and prioritize effectively across multiple initiatives
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
8+ years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
3+ years working on Agile product teams
Experience with data migration, mapping, and tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL
Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA
Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities
Advanced knowledge of QA and Project Management practices
Business Analyst Certification (IIBA certification or equivalent)
Bonus Points If You Have
Scrum Master experience
Experience with backlog management and story refinement
Familiarity with public sector or modernization projects
Education & Certifications You Need
Bachelorβs degree in a related field preferred
PMP Certification required
Business Analyst Certification (IIBA or equivalent) preferred
