Business Analyst

We are currently filling the following contract position with our client. Business Analyst The Business Analyst serves as the bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective technology solutions and ensuring system implementations meet organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to drive efficiency, improve user experience, and align digital solutions with strategic objectives. The Business Analyst partners with project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that optimize workflows and system performance. Responsibilities • Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical system requirements. • Develop documentation for current and future state workflows, requirements, and specifications. • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and manage requirements across complex enterprise systems, APIs, and data structures. • Support new software implementations and enhancements, including customer-facing platforms and applications. • Collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers through design, development, and testing to ensure quality outcomes. • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and support agile sprint planning. • Leverage automation and Generative AI tools to improve analysis, documentation, and solution design. • Track risks, issues, and key decisions; provide clear and concise reporting to stakeholders. • Validate system functionality and data accuracy through testing and integration checks. • Lead or support small project teams as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required. • 3+ years’ experience in business analysis with SDLC, system development methodologies, and requirements gathering. • Experience designing, enhancing, and supporting customer-facing web applications. • Strong skills in business process mapping and workflow documentation (Visio, Lucid). • Proficiency with SQL, JSON, and enterprise-level APIs. • Familiarity with agile frameworks and processes (epics, features, stories). • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience leveraging Generative AI tools for productivity and analysis. • Preferred: PMI-PBA, CBAP, CAPM, or Agile certifications; experience in construction or related industries.
