Business Analyst

Location: Bradford, England We are seeking a skilled Business analyst to work in Bradford on a Fixed term contract basis, the successful candidate will engage with front-office, middle-office, and back-office stakeholders to understand business objectives and will also translate business needs into clear and actionable functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories Key Responsibilities: • Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories • Prioritize requirements based on business impact, regulatory urgency, and technical feasibility • Identify inefficiencies and propose automation or system enhancements • Support business case development and ROI analysis for proposed initiatives • Act as a bridge between business users, technology teams, and external vendors • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment across departments • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely communication of project updates • Define UAT scope, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria • Support UAT execution, defect tracking, and resolution • Ensure solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards • Maintain comprehensive documentation including traceability matrices, change logs, and impact assessments • Ensure adherence to internal governance and external compliance frameworks Qualifications: ·       Strong business analyst experience within Utilities industry ·       Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint ·       Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies ·       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills ·       Ability to work independently in a client-facing onsite environment ·       Exposure to data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL ·       Understanding of cloud-based trading infrastructure and API integrations Inclusion At Wipro we don’t just look at your CV.
