About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled O365 Engineer to join our Technology division in London. This is a contract position for 6 months, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in the modernisation, integration, and consolidation of messaging, collaboration, and e-Discovery platforms via Microsoft O365 technology.
You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing specialist engineering support across O365 services, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams video and voice delivery, Exchange server maintenance, and Office 365 migrations. This is a hands-on role requiring immediate availability and full-time presence in the London office.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver O365 services through technical delivery and systems administration, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Create and manage a stable, secure O365 platform aligned with SLA requirements.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Exchange and MS Teams telephony integration.
• Deliver and maintain Microsoft Teams video and voice across BYOD and corporate desktops.
• Support O365 voice recording migrations in line with project requirements.
• Investigate and resolve complex O365 service issues, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Manage O365 product lifecycle and contribute to roadmaps supporting Messaging and Collaboration strategy.
• Install, test, and patch new versions of system software.
Skills & Experience
Essential Technical Expertise:
• Microsoft messaging technologies (Exchange / O365) including companion technologies.
• MS Teams (video and voice integration).
• E-Discovery / Enterprise Vault / Compliance Tools (Compliance Accelerator, Discovery Accelerator, Clearwell).
• Microsoft Intune / MDM.
• AD / ADFS / Federation Services / Hybrid Services.
• PowerShell scripting, automation, and orchestration.
• Proven Experience in design, migration, integration, and implementation of O365 technologies.
Work Experience:
• Demonstrable 3rd line Office 365 engineering Experience in a global, multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of MS Teams telephony integration.
• Experience supporting large-scale messaging environments (20,000+ users desirable).
Education / Qualifications (Beneficial):
• Degree-level qualification or technology-focused certifications (e.g., MCSE Messaging, MCSA).
