Role Overview
Ascenteum is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Mastery to support a special initiative within its Wealth Management Technology organization. This role is ideal for a results-driven analyst with a strong blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and data expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical and data-driven solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and shared understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and data engineers to support the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Perform data analysis to validate assumptions, inform decision-making, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Manage and support multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain documentation including requirements, process flows, specifications, and supporting materials for development and testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying gaps, recommending enhancements, and promoting best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on technology and/or data-driven initiatives.
• Proven experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, SQL, or data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with APIs, data integration, or cloud-based platforms.
• Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
