Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Stamford, CT. We're looking for a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator to help deliver Rich Communication Services (RCS)/Rich Business Messaging (RBM) as a new customer communication channel. This role blends project coordination with hands-on analysis, working closely with delivery, content, and technical teams to bring the channel to life and optimize it over time. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Partner with the Unified Customer Communications (UCC) delivery team on RCS/RBM implementation
β’ Collaborate with upstream/downstream teams (Development, QA, BA, Solutions Architecture, PM) to turn business vision into deliverables
β’ Gather, document, and manage requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
β’ Audit and improve existing customer communications; Draft new RCS content aligned to objectives, compliance, and customer experience
β’ Understand backend integration needs and dependencies; Support testing and validate rendering in RCS environments
β’ Track milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects
β’ Develop expertise in RCS/RBM capabilities, limitations, and best practices
Requirements
β’ 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in tech or communications
β’ Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear customer-facing content
β’ Experience working with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
β’ Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
Preferred
β’ Experience with messaging platforms or telecom projects
β’ Understanding of RCS/RBM, SMS, MMS, or other messaging protocols
β’ Exposure to backend integration or API-driven workflows
Technical Skills
β’ Messaging Systems: RCS/RBM fundamentals, SMS/MMS workflows, carrier considerations, character limits
β’ Integration Knowledge: Basic API concepts (REST/JSON), reading API documentation, understanding event triggers
β’ Testing & QA: Test planning, UAT execution, validating content and logs, defect tracking (Jira).
β’ Analytics: Interpreting delivery/engagement reports; basic SQL a plus.
Soft Skills: Translating business needs into technical requirements, troubleshooting across systems, understanding workflows and integration points. Tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
