Business Analyst

Position Title: Business Analyst / Tester (Mid-Level) Location: Washington, DC (Onsite) Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance U.S. Citizenship required (Dual citizenship not permitted) Position Status: Contract Position Description: We are seeking a Business Analyst / Tester to support a mission-critical federal application environment in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in business analysis, application testing, and production support within secure, onsite environments. The successful candidate will support multiple enterprise applications, act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, and ensure high-quality releases through effective requirements gathering, testing, and Agile execution. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Required Skills/Education: • Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance • Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 5 years of professional experience (internships included) • Experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, or Tester • Strong understanding of business processes and system requirements • Hands-on experience with application/software testing, including test script creation and execution • Experience providing Tier 3 (T3) production support • Proficiency using Jira for user stories, task tracking, and backlog management • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban) • Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work onsite, 5 days per week, in a secure federal environment About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
