Business Systems Analyst – Medicaid Claims & Healthcare Systems
Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid)
Overvie
wWe are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Medicaid Claims Processing and healthcare systems. This role will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, document processes, support system enhancements, and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions
.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, supporting Agile development efforts, and working within complex healthcare environments. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

sBusiness Analysis & Requirements Gatherin
• gCollaborate with business users, subject matter experts, and technical teams to understand business objectives, operational procedures, and system requirements
• .Conduct requirements gathering sessions with non-technical stakeholders to identify business process needs and program requirements

• eDevelop test scenarios, test scripts, and test data for system enhancements
• .Execute functional and user acceptance testing activities
• .Review test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams on issue resolution
• .Ensure applications meet quality, maintainability, and performance standards
.Stakeholder Communication & Project Suppor
• tProvide regular project status updates and communicate enhancement progress to stakeholders
• .Participate in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and status reviews
• .Coordinate with developers, business analysts, database administrators, project managers, and external partners
• .Communicate technical concepts and system functionality to both technical and non-technical audiences
.Knowledge Transfer & Continuous Improvemen
• tFacilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and documentation reviews to reduce single points of failure
• .Support implementation planning and recommend solutions to improve system performance and business operations
• .Document system architecture, workflows, dependencies, and implementation strategies
.Required Qualification

• e5+ years of experience in Medicaid Claims Processing
• .5+ years of experience performing business systems analysis in healthcare or large enterprise environments
• .5+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements
• .5+ years of experience evaluating operational procedures and identifying opportunities for process automation and system improvements
• .5+ years of experience creating detailed functional specifications, use cases, workflows, and program documentation
• .5+ years of experience conducting cost-benefit analyses and evaluating solution alternatives
• .5+ years of experience documenting input/output requirements, reporting formats, and data processing requirements
• .5+ years of experience using Azure DevOps, including backlog management and wireframe creation
• .5+ years of experience working within Agile and/or Scrum environments
