Role: Lead Business / Process Analyst
Location: Hartford, Connecticut (Hybrid)

Role Summary
Seeking a 10+ year experienced US-based Business / Process Analyst with strong Personal / Auto / Home insurance expertise and proven experience leading teams and driving delivery to support a legacy policy rewrite & automation initiative using UiPath.
The role focuses on understanding current-state legacy processes, defining rewrite steps, and translating business needs into clear requirements while working closely with client business teams, leadership, and RPA delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand and document legacy auto policy rewrite processes (rules, steps, exceptions)
• Map end-to-end auto policy lifecycle (issuance, endorsement, cancellation, renewal, rewrite)
• Facilitate workshops with business SMEs and client leadership
• Define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Act as a bridge between business, architecture, and UiPath delivery teams
• Collaborate with RPA teams to:
• Validate process flows
• Clarify edge cases and exception scenarios
• Support UAT and business validation of rewrite scenarios
• Lead and coordinate analyst / functional teams, ensuring alignment of requirements, priorities, and timely delivery
Required Skills
• Strong experience in US Personal / Auto / Home Insurance
• Hands-on exposure to policy rewrite / modernization programs
• Excellent process mapping and requirements documentation (AS-IS / TO-BE, workflows, decision points) skills
• Strong understanding of automation suitability (RPA feasibility, rule-based processes)
• Proven client-facing and stakeholder management capability
• Experience leading teams / managing analysts or cross-functional delivery is mandatory
• Familiarity with Agile tools and methods (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
Preferred
• Experience working with UiPath / RPA projects (process assessment, PDD creation, automation lifecycle)
• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or legacy policy admin systems
• Understanding of underwriting and rating rule impacts during rewrite
• Exposure to exception-heavy processes and automation challenges
