Business Analyst - Addepar / Private Markets Reporting | Addepar Implementation – Business Analyst (Contract) | Outside IR35 | up to £700/day | 6‑month initial | Hybrid London/Edinburgh
A Business Analyst Addepar / Private Markets is needed for a major wealth and asset management organisation is delivering a flagship digital transformation programme, including the implementation of Addepar as the strategic reporting platform across Private and Public Markets. They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with Private Markets reporting expertise or hands‑on Addepar implementation experience to drive key work streams within a high‑profile reporting and data modernisation initiative.
This Business Analyst Addepar / Private Markets role sits within a fast‑moving Change function, working across business, technology, and data teams to define requirements, optimise processes, and ensure successful adoption of new reporting capabilities.
The Business Analyst Addepar / Private Markets will play a central part in the Strategic Reporting Programme, shaping requirements, validating workflows, and ensuring the reporting solution meets business, operational, and regulatory needs.
💰 Paying up to £700/day (Outside IR35)
🗺️ Hybrid working – 3 days a week in London or Edinburgh
📆 6‑month initial contract (extensions expected)
🚀 Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
• Lead analysis for the Addepar implementation across Private and Public Markets
• Capture, define, prioritise, and document business requirements
• Translate user needs into user stories, specifications, and workflows
• Coordinate features and sprint deliverables within Agile teams
• Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure accurate delivery
• Conduct data analysis, gap analysis, and support migration/integration activities
• Facilitate workshops, lead stakeholder sessions, and present confidently
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation
• Support operational readiness and ensure changes are embedded effectively
Essential
• Business Analyst experience in a regulated environment (Wealth, Banking, Financial Services)
• Private Markets reporting or Addepar implementation experience
• Strong ability to elicit clear, unambiguous requirements
• Proficiency with Visio, Draw.io, Miro
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Agile delivery experience (Scrum or Kanban)
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to operate in a fast‑paced environment
• Understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements
