Role description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Analyst. Position type: Full-time/ Contract Duration: 6+ Months Contract Location: Springfield, OR Boston, MA Work Mode: 3 Days Onsite Duties • Serve as a Business Analysts for projects, applications and technologies within Protection New Business and Underwriting. • Directly support the overall Underwriting organization with a focus on our Platform Modernization. • Role includes gathering, synthesizing, and documenting business requirements, rules configurations and UAT testing requirements. • Underwriting platform experience. • Must be able to work in a dynamic, matrixed organization, bringing together the perspectives of many and the End-to-End requirements across the customer experience for business sign-off and implementation. Job Description As a Business Analyst, you will drive translating business needs into the requirements for Processes and Technology to execute on supporting our customer and employee experiences. To be successful, you will: • Document business requirements with detailed technical specifications • Understand process flows and ensure interconnectivity of systems and applications • Act as a liaison between Underwriting and other teams and advocate for necessary changes • Translate customer and employee needs into documented, actionable solutions with clear measurement mechanisms in service of business outcomes • Provide proper documentation for the Product team to prioritize features and enhancements against a prioritization framework Support Business owner, Product Manager and peers to align requirements to roadmaps • Proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes by maintaining a strong knowledge of available and upcoming features delivered by external vendors Update procedural and processes changes Skills: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree • 7+ years' experience supporting projects and driving execution of • 7+ complex technical work • Business Analyst experience for Underwriting systems Understanding of Waterfall and Agile processes and documentation • Strong requirements documentation skills • Ability to drill down from the big picture to process details • Ability to think strategically • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and organizations Preferred Qualifications • Individual who enjoys solving complex problems and improving team processes Lide underwriting knowledge • Exposure to customer experience/user experience practices • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams to design, configure, test, and deploy • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities • Experience with additional requirements tools including JIRA and Confluence Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
