Role description
This advanced-level Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders
and technical teams, supporting bureau initiatives, projects, and operational processes. The
role focuses on gathering, defining, and validating business and technical requirements
while ensuring alignment between business needs and delivered solutions.
The consultant will analyze current business processes, identify opportunities for
improvement, and recommend enhancements to systems and workflows to improve
operational efficiency and meet customer needs. Responsibilities include developing use
cases, user stories, and test plans to support current-to-future state transformations, as well
as validating system requirements and design specifications.
The role requires collaboration with business leads, SMEs, architects, and developers to
design and implement solutions. The analyst will lead requirements sessions, facilitate
stakeholder discussions, and ensure cross-functional alignment. They will also document
workflows, data flows, and system interactions, ensuring traceability from requirements
through delivery.
This position includes ownership of quality assurance activities, including test planning,
execution, defect resolution, and validation of delivered solutions. The analyst will also
support end-user training, develop documentation, and ensure the successful deployment
and adoption of solutions.
The individual operates with minimal supervision, acting as a senior authority on business
analysis practices, contributing to multiple complex initiatives, and providing guidance to
stakeholders and team members. The role also contributes to enterprise standards, best
practices, and continuous process improvement efforts.
