Experience Required
• Proven experience in business analysis gained within the insurance/financial services industry, working with highly transactional digital platforms
• Experience in defining APIs and technical business processes
• Detailed understanding of API design principles and exposure to associated technologies.
• Working knowledge of API management tools, middleware (Mulesoft), and integration platforms
• Have an appreciation and understanding of API design standards and technologies
(e.g. JSON, XML, Swagger, RAML). Hands-on coding experience is not required.
• Ability to utilise API testing tools such as Postman and SOAPUI to ensure solution integrity
• Ability to break down high-level business requirements into epics and user stories (BDD & TDD).
• Ability to capture, analyse, and elicit business requirements to create detailed technical business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and
maintain a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools.
• Experience of leading BA delivery on complex projects or programmes circa £1m budget
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including both technical and
non-technical stakeholders, end clients and external suppliers
• Ability to work within high-performing virtual teams
