Business Analyst – Automation & Data Solutions (Remote)

Title: Business Analyst – Automation Solutions (Remote, San Diego or Atlanta Preferred) Contract: 10-month contract (potential to extend or convert) Location: Remote, with preference for candidates based in San Diego, CA or Atlanta, GA Overview: We’re seeking a Business Analyst to support the Automation Solutions team driving digital transformation across HR operations. This group focuses on streamlining recruiting, benefits, and payroll processes using automation, data insights, and AI tools. You’ll bridge business and technology—turning requirements into scalable automation strategies that improve how teams work. What You’ll Do: • Partner with teams to identify, document, and automate business processes. • Lead discovery sessions to map AS-IS and TO-BE workflows. • Translate requirements into Process Design Documents (PDDs) for RPA/APA development. • Support testing, validation, and deployment of automated workflows. • Analyze and process data using SQL and Python to uncover optimization opportunities. • Stay current on automation tools like UiPath and Alteryx to recommend new capabilities. What We’re Looking For: • Experience mapping and optimizing complex business processes. • Strong skills in SQL and Python for data analysis. • Familiarity with automation platforms (UiPath, Alteryx). • Advanced Excel; data visualization a plus. • HR system experience (Workday, ADP) preferred. • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
