Position: Business Analyst (Azure) Position type: 12 months Work Location: Tallahassee, FL 32399 Client: Direct Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, on-site, and is a contract position. What You'll Do • Research and understand client business processes and their inter-relationships • Document and diagram business and system processes and dependencies • Analyze impacts of tool implementation on agency systems • Facilitate joint analysis workshops with business units • Gather and document business and technical requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps • Manage backlog and work items using Azure DevOps • Coordinate with Development and QA teams • Develop test plans and test cases • Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts • Review deliverables for compliance with department standards What You'll Need: Required: • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field • Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education • 5+ years in business process and systems analysis • Proficiency in process mapping/modeling (e.g., Visio) • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • SQL query writing and data analysis experience Preferred: • Experience with Microsoft DevOps • Technical experience in IBM Mainframe, Distributed, and Cloud environments • Familiarity with data migration, change/release management, testing, and QA tools • Agile project experience and Azure DevOps for managing requirements
