Job Title: Website/CMS Business Analyst
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire (12 months W2 Contract, with possibility of turning to Full Time, Permanent after 12 months)
Location: Hybrid - 4 Days on site per week in Milwaukee, WI
Our client, a Global Manufacturing Company, is seeking a skilled Digital Business Analyst to bridge the gap between their business objectives and technical execution. In this role, you will be the primary architect of requirements for their web platforms, ensuring that their Content Management System (CMS) and digital products are optimized for both user experience and business growth.
Job Description:
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Act as the subject matter expert for their CMS (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Contentful, or WordPress), identifying opportunities for automation and improved authoring workflows.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and web developers to ensure technical solutions align with the initial business vision.
• Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories.
• Digital Asset Management (DAM): Define metadata schemas, tagging structures, and asset processing profiles within AEM Assets.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst specifically within web development or digital transformation environments.
• Strong understanding of CMS architecture, API integrations, and SEO best practices.
• Proficiency in mapping complex business processes and creating data-flow diagrams.
• Exceptional ability to "translate" between marketing teams and backend developers.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and managing a fast-moving product backlog.
Preferred Qualifications
• It would be highly desirable if you have worked in an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) background.
• Experience with A/B testing tools and Google Analytics.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) or Agile (CSPO).
• Prior experience with headless CMS architecture.
