The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Business Analyst with a strong track record in Client Reporting change initiatives to join our newly formed Client Reporting Solutions Team. You will play a key role in delivering the Client Reporting strategy under the Client Experience (CX) Programme and work directly with a varied cross section of internal stakeholders (Distribution, Investments, Data Strategy Team and Tech & Change). You will support the Head of CR Solutions and the whole Client Reporting team in progressing our exciting transformation journey.
In 2026, Client Reporting will focus on foundational improvements, including developing a service catalogue, redefining change request processes, enhancing existing workflows, and establishing dataprioritisation principles. In 2027, we will build on this foundation to differentiate between strategic and tactical solutions and embed long term improvements.
This role sits at the intersection of reporting, technology, data, and client service. It is ideal for someone with strong analytical ability, hands on client reporting experience, and deep knowledge of asset management operations and data. You will be instrumental in assessing reporting requirements, coordinating change initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across the reporting value chain.
This is a 24 month Fixed Term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Business Analysis and Process Design for Change Request Process and Service Catalogue: Analysis of current change request process to establish enhanced WOW, introducing metrics throughout the workflow to drive continuous improvement. Drive the creation of the service catalogue via analysis of existing offerings to create standards and pairing to our Client Tiering framework.
β’ Stakeholder Engagement: Form a strong collaboration with our internal reporting SMEs and act as a central point of contact for the Change Programme, ensuring effective communication, prioritisation, and transparency across teams and workstreams.
β’ Process Improvement: Support the review and optimisation of existing reporting processes. Identify opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and enhanced documentation.
β’ Data Strategy Coordination: Bring together the data challenges for client reporting and dependencies for each output scope to tell a clear story of the path to green, including tactical vs strategic.
β’ KPI & Workflow Oversight: For activities in scope develop KPIs and leverage workflow tools to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and support decision-making.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Essential:
β’ Experience in a senior business analyst role.
β’ Strong understanding of asset management operations and client types, including institutional, retail, and segregated mandates and their differing reporting requirements
β’ End-to-end knowledge of the client reporting lifecycle: data sourcing, production, quality control, and delivery.
β’ Proven experience in delivering process change and delivering scalable solutions within a client reporting function.
β’ Familiarity with vendor reporting platforms, reporting technologies and workflow automation tools
β’ Understanding of data architecture and data management principles (e.g. lineage, governance, quality).
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
β’ Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting insights.
β’ Experience using JIRA or similar tools to manage workflows and change requests
β’ Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and a track record of delivering change.
β’ Strong experience within Asset Management
Desirable
β’ Experience in cross-functional transformation programmes, including target operating model design and transition planning.
β’ Experience working with offshore teams and outsourced operations.
β’ Knowledge of financial instruments and investment strategies.
β’ SQL experience would be highly beneficial
