Role description
Business Analyst – Client Services 3 (ONSITE) Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Business Analyst for their Vancouver, Washington location. This role is part of a fast-paced Customer Service and Contract Administration team. Strong multi-tasking, adaptability, accuracy, and accountability are essential, as the position involves compliance-related responsibilities and tight timelines. Key responsibilities include coordinating and supporting customer pre-payments, fee receipts and refunds, account documentation and reconciliation, and clarifying fee-related policies to internal and external customers. The role also manages project work order coordination, liaises with internal teams and external clients, implements contract templates, supports application processes, and ensures accurate data management and reporting for customer projects. This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits! Pay Rate or Range: $57.00 – $61.00/hr. DOE Location: Vancouver, WA. (ONSITE) Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst – Client Services: • Serve as primary point of contact for contracts, pre-payments, fees, and program processes; provide guidance, training, and support to internal teams and external customers. • Apply policies and procedures to address routine and complex customer situations, ensuring compliance and accurate records management. • Collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams to understand customer project needs, financial requirements, and service expectations. • Analyze customer project data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and recommend solutions to resolve issues or improve operations. • Coordinate and facilitate responses to customer inquiries, including cross-departmental liaison and follow-up. • Support project and process teams by organizing meetings, documenting decisions, tracking assignments, and contributing research and analysis. • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring inclusion of key elements such as financial terms, billing, access requirements, compliance, and operational provisions; propose revisions to templates and processes as needed. • Provide quality assurance for contracts and communications, verifying adherence to internal and regulatory standards. • Manage contract, pre-payment, and fee data across multiple systems; maintain accurate records, monitor execution, and track payments. • Facilitate customer onboarding, including collection of contact information, tax forms, and account setup. • Lead efforts to streamline, document, and standardize business processes and system use for contract and fee management. • Serve as a resource on contract principles, internal procedures, and industry regulations; advise teams on template use, contract language, and deviations from standard processes. • Present contract and project status updates to leadership, contribute to procedural updates, and lead program initiatives as assigned.
