Business Analyst - Collibra Location: New York City, NY Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid — onsite 3x/week Contract Details • Position Type: Contract • Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension) • Start: July 13, 2026 • Pay Rate: $60.00 / Hour (USD) • Shift / Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (possible overtime) • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary The client is seeking an experienced resource with a strong background in the financial industry and a strong governance and controls background. They should bring the necessary foundation to quickly understand and navigate the latter processes. The focus for the resource will be to develop and document functional requirements for data sourcing and mapping, assist in identification of critical-data-elements (CDEs), document element-level data lineage, and data transformation hops. The resource should also be very experienced with managing a project through the standardized project management life cycle framework — Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closure. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on one of the biggest product/business line launches within the bank, exposing them to different stakeholders and opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Develop functional requirements for implementation of a new product across the product control (balance sheet and P&L processes) and regulatory reporting functions • Documenting registered data assets (RDAs), CDEs for registration as needed • Obtaining process details & developing detail process documentation and flow diagrams • Developing and testing data quality business rules and mappings • Producing required documentation throughout the process • Ongoing review and approval processes for the completed work products • Other related data and process governance initiatives, as required Required Skills • Strong ability to develop and write end-to-end cross-functional requirements • Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel and Word) • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong ability to present to senior stakeholders • Time management • Attention to detail Preferred Skills • Knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory reporting preferred • Global Banking and Markets experience preferred • Experience with Collibra • PowerBI experience • PeopleSoft experience • CPA certification Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree or diploma required Required Experience • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry • 3 years of Project Management experience (end-to-end) • 2 years of UAT experience • 3 years of data-related experience (e.g., Project Lifecycle, Data Quality, Metadata, Issue Management, Reference Data, Data Provisioning, etc.) Important Notes • Interview process: 2 rounds — 1st round with Senior Manager (30 mins, virtual via Teams Video); 2nd round with Hiring Manager (30 mins, virtual via Teams Video).
