Job Summary:
Sidecar Health is redefining health insurance with a mission to make healthcare affordable and attainable for everyone. The Business Analyst will support the development of analytics solutions, translate raw data into actionable insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive smarter decision-making across the company.
Responsibilities:
β’ Support the development of analytical solutions to strengthen strategy and execution across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product
β’ Assist in translating raw data into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators
β’ Collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
β’ Help define, document, and monitor critical metrics and KPIs
β’ Contribute to presentations and materials that communicate findings to internal stakeholders
β’ Participate in ad hoc analyses to answer important business questions and uncover opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ 1+ year of experience in an analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused role
β’ Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large datasets
β’ Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or similar platforms
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
β’ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
β’ Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights for non-technical audiences
β’ Passion for improving the U.S. healthcare system through transparency and innovation
