Role description
KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States. Responsibilities β€’ Collaborate with clients and project teams to gather and document business requirements, objectives, and constraints β€’ Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization β€’ Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and test plans β€’ Perform data analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision making and drive business outcomes β€’ Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful implementation of solutions β€’ Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and drive consensus on project deliverables β€’ Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that address business challenges and drive operational efficiency β€’ Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and are user friendly β€’ Provide ongoing support and training to end users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of implemented solutions β€’ Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization β€’ Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field β€’ Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment β€’ Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and derive meaningful insights β€’ Proficiency in business process modeling techniques and tools, such as BPMN or UML β€’ Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders β€’ Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines β€’ Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile project environments is a plus β€’ Familiarity with industry standard business analysis frameworks, such as BABOK or PMIPBA, is preferred β€’ Professional certifications, such as CBAP or CCBA, are a plus β€’ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
