Business Analyst (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to support executive office functions within a dynamic Revenue Operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling predictable business rhythms, strategic planning initiatives, and operational program management. Working closely with leadership, this individual will contribute to organizational effectiveness by coordinating business reviews, preparing executive-level materials, managing operational frameworks, and supporting future-year strategy planning. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and can quickly adapt to changing demands while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
β’ Establish and maintain communication services across business units and project teams throughout the organization
β’ Coordinate and support regular organizational rhythms and business reviews
β’ Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and follow-up documentation for executive leadership
β’ Maintain storage and retrieval systems for all project communications data and business metrics
β’ Track communication milestones, key dates, and relevant deliverables across multiple initiatives
β’ Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements as needed
β’ Manage budgets, assets, decks, and operational frameworks
β’ Track project budgets and expenditures while monitoring transaction controls and costs against budgets
β’ Establish, document, and update business processes to improve operational efficiency
β’ Set up and maintain project and work breakdown structures
β’ Support culture initiatives, team offsites, and other in-person events
β’ Maintain governance over organizational assets and establish central repositories
β’ Partner with leadership to implement improvements and operational efficiencies
Requirements
β’ 2-4 years of experience in organizational communications
β’ 2-4 years of experience in project management
β’ 2-4 years of experience in business operations
β’ Demonstrated progression from coordinator-level to higher-scope operations roles
β’ Experience operating in an executive office or corporate environment
β’ Experience handling business rhythms, operations, and stakeholder support at scale
β’ Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field required
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
β’ Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
β’ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple priorities
β’ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
β’ Strong analytical capability and ability to analyze business trends
β’ Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed
β’ Proficiency with project tracking tools and comfort using AI tools for faster analysis
β’ Advanced skills in computer applications including Excel for data analysis and tracking
