Business Analyst (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary This position offers an exceptional opportunity to drive strategic sales performance analysis and business intelligence initiatives for a global cybersecurity sales organization. Working at the intersection of data analytics and cloud security sales strategy, you will be instrumental in shaping worldwide sales execution through sophisticated dashboard development and data-driven insights. Job Responsibilities β€’ Develop and manage Power BI dashboards to track and analyze cloud security sales performance across worldwide markets β€’ Create comprehensive data reports synthesizing information from multiple sources to support executive business reviews β€’ Conduct sales performance analysis and provide data-driven insights to optimize revenue generation and opportunity closure processes β€’ Compile monthly program execution updates across global initiatives for leadership review and strategic decision-making β€’ Track and measure return on investment for pilot programs targeting small and medium enterprise and channel segments β€’ Coordinate and manage partner meeting and event schedules across multiple time zones and stakeholder groups β€’ Design and implement data cubes and advanced Excel models for complex business analysis β€’ Synthesize complex data into clear, concise, and impactful recommendations for senior leadership β€’ Support long-term strategic planning processes through financial analysis and performance metric development β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales operations, channel partners, marketing, and engineering to drive business growth β€’ Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and transaction controls to identify potential overruns and recommend solutions β€’ Maintain project management processes including goals, deadlines, metrics, and documentation of business processes Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, information technology, or related business field required β€’ Minimum 10 years of professional experience in business analysis or related field β€’ Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development and data analysis β€’ Minimum 5-10 years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience including data cube development β€’ Minimum 5-10 years of experience with data mining and data summarization β€’ Expert-level proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and management β€’ Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including data cube development and complex data manipulation β€’ Strong data mining and analytical skills with ability to summarize data in meaningful ways β€’ Knowledge of cloud product sales performance tracking and metrics β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to senior stakeholders β€’ Superior program and project management abilities to coordinate multiple high-stakes deliverables simultaneously β€’ Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation β€’ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across global time zones β€’ Strategic planning and resource allocation expertise β€’ Ability to synthesize complex information into succinct, actionable recommendations β€’ Proven collaboration skills with ability to build and leverage networks to achieve results β€’ Resilience and grace under pressure in fast-paced, dynamic environments β€’ SQL and database query capabilities β€’ Accounting and mathematical principles application to business analysis Additional Details β€’ Location: Remote β€’ Duration: 4 months β€’ Pay Range β€’ : $55.50 - $63 per hour β€’ Weekly Schedule: 40 hours β€’ Job Status: Non-Exempt β€’ Application Deadline: Apply within 72 hours of the posting date to ensure consideration.
