Job Title: Business Analyst – Credit Risk/data lineage/Opendatalineage/Alation/BCBS239/regulatory/SQL Location: London, UK (Hybrid) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on Data Taxonomy, Data Dictionary, Technical Lineage, and Controls within the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong regulatory knowledge and hands-on expertise in data governance and risk reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements for data taxonomy, dictionary, and technical lineage. • Ensure alignment with BCBS239 principles for risk data aggregation and reporting. • Support implementation of data governance frameworks and metadata management standards. • Utilise data lineage tools (e.g., Opendatalineage, Alation) to capture and validate technical lineage. • Perform SQL-based data analysis to query, validate, and reconcile data across systems. • Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders. Key Skills: • Business Analyst experience in financial services or a regulatory environment • Exposure to Consumer Credit Risk, Credit Risk, and Market Risk • Strong knowledge of BCBS239 principles • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools • Hands-on experience with data lineage tools (e.g., Opendatalineage, Alation) • Familiarity with data governance and metadata management • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Strong documentation and analytical skills
