Business Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Asset Management and hands-on expertise in Quality Assurance (QA). The ideal candidate will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood, properly documented, and successfully delivered with high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations, compliance, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Work closely with product owners to define business processes, workflows, and use cases within the Asset/Investment Management domain (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.). • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Perform business process analysis and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices. • Partner with QA teams to define test strategy, create test scenarios, and validate functionality against requirements. • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support end-users during the testing phase. • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with regulations and internal standards. • Support the development team during design, development, and implementation phases. • Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive consensus. • Act as a bridge between business and IT to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects. Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of total experience as a Business Analyst in the Asset Management / Investment Banking / Capital Markets domain. • Strong knowledge of financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Alternatives). • Proven expertise in requirements gathering, functional specifications, and business process mapping. • Hands-on QA experience, including test case design, test execution, and defect management. • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ALM, or similar requirement & testing tools. • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
