Business Analyst - Data Governance

MUST BE ON W2 - NO THIRD PARTY RECRUITERS/SUBVENDING PERMITTED Position: Business Analyst V – Data Governance & Quality Location: Mount Laurel, NJ – Hybrid (1 day/week onsite) Start Date: August 25, 2025 End Date: February 27, 2026 (extension possible) Positions Available: 2 Overview We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to support a new project and BAU initiatives within the US FCRM Strategies, Solutions, and Transformation team. The focus of this role will be data governance, issue management, and data quality controls in support of compliance and financial crimes-related initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work in a leading FI organization and gain valuable experience in data governance, metadata management, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with data stewards, IT, and business teams to document and develop data quality metrics. • Investigate and analyze data quality issues, establishing root causes and remediation steps. • Monitor adherence to data governance policies, standards, and procedures. • Support metadata management, data cataloging, and control automation as needed. • Partner with senior leads to design, document, and implement data quality controls. • Provide business and technical support across FCRM data governance and compliance projects. Must-Have Qualifications • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience. • Strong knowledge of data governance and data controls. • Hands-on experience with data lineage. • Proficiency in SQL (querying, reporting, and issue investigation). • Requirements gathering and business reporting expertise. Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with MS Azure (data platforms, governance, or reporting). • Familiarity with Agile delivery and Jira. • Exposure to Tableau for reporting and dashboarding.
