Role description
Our client is looking for a Data Security Business Analyst
This must be done hybrid 3 days per week in Downtown Chicago
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead data loss prevention efforts by monitoring for additional types of sensitive data and tuning existing rules to reduce false positive events which creates disruption for business processes
β’ Support the implementation and enhancement of data protection solutions such as Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, or similar tools
β’ Assist in mapping data protection requirements to governance frameworks and compliance obligations
β’ Analyze data loss events to identify and recommend changes to minimize false positive scenarios
Basic Qualifications:
β’ Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, or other security tools
β’ Strong understanding of data protection and testing business test cases related to test policies
β’ Previous banking experience highly preferred
β’ Knowledge of data classification, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
