Job Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business requirements gathering, data analysis, and Agile delivery tools and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and support end-to-end project execution.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct requirements elicitation and translate needs into clear business and functional specifications, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decisions.
• Evaluate and document current and future state processes; recommend improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead or support mid-sized projects and initiatives; assist with planning, milestone tracking, and delivery coordination.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations; validate and manage requirements across business and technology teams.
• Support and participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and business goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, systems, and requirements; track and report project metrics and outcomes.
• Manage calendars and schedule key sessions; track project milestones and deliverables; produce status summaries and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem solving, including developing insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to facilitate sessions and drive consensus.
• Business process modeling and documentation experience, including process flows and data models.
• Hands-on with Excel and SQL; experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards and reports.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and collaboration platforms like Confluence.
• Ability to manage calendars and schedules, track milestones and deliverables, and produce clear documentation.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience creating reports, trackers, and concise summaries for stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Excel formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
Typical Deliverables:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Process flows, data models, and related documentation.
• Dashboards, performance reports, and project status updates.
Level Expectations (BA II):
• Works with moderate independence and limited supervision.
• Handles more complex analyses and mid-sized projects.
• May mentor junior analysts and contributes to decision-making.
