Business Analyst

Position Details: • Job Title: Business Analyst | W2-CONTRACT ROLE • Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid) • Duration: Long-Term Contract • Interview: Web-Based Key Responsibilities: • Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify improvement opportunities. • Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and traceability matrices. • Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. • Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews. • Develop process models and workflow diagrams using Visio, BPMN, or similar tools. • Support Agile and Waterfall project methodologies using Jira or similar project management tools. • Participate in system testing activities, including test planning, test case development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation. • Analyze and validate data using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools. • Support system integrations, APIs (REST/SOAP), and data flow validation activities. • Work closely with development, QA, support, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery. • Provide regular project status updates and recommendations to stakeholders and management. • Assist with process improvement initiatives, strategic planning, quality assurance, and governance activities. • Develop technical documentation, standards, procedures, and policies as needed. Preferred Qualifications: • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst Certification. • PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) or CBAP Certification. • MCSE/CSEP Certification. • Experience working with Child Welfare systems or government agencies. • Knowledge of Salesforce, Jira, Axure RP, and enterprise application platforms. • Experience with financial workflows and translating business operations into technical requirements. #SKILLS MATRIX: • Experience performing business process analysis and creating documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and traceability matrices • Experience in business process modeling and workflow design using Visio, BPMN, or similar tools • Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, testing support, and implementation • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments using tools such as Jira or similar systems • Experience supporting system testing, including test case development, UAT execution, and defect tracking • Experience performing data analysis using SQL, advanced Excel, or Power BI for reporting and validation • Experience working with systems integration concepts, including APIs (REST/SOAP) and data flow validation • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ERP systems, or similar technologies • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Business Analyst • Knowledge of Child Welfare • PBA/CBAP Certification • MCSE/CSEP Certification
