Job Description – Business Analyst Position: Business Analyst Location: Onsite – Shelton, CT Duration: 6 months+ (possible extension) Visa: No sponsorship available Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join our team onsite in Shelton, CT. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in eliciting, documenting, and analyzing requirements, with proven experience creating BRDs, use cases, process flows, and user stories. The BA will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and developers to drive solutions that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: β€’ Gather, document, and validate business requirements through BRDs, process flows, use cases, and user stories. β€’ Analyze data to derive meaningful insights and present findings using visualization tools/techniques. β€’ Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure business and technical requirements are aligned. β€’ Support process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending solutions. β€’ Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood by both business and technical teams. β€’ Contribute to QA and UAT phases as needed. Required Skills: β€’ 3+ years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. β€’ Proven ability in eliciting/documenting requirements (BRDs, use cases, process flows, user stories). β€’ Strong experience with data analysis and visualization techniques. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation. β€’ Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills. β€’ Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including business and technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): β€’ Knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). β€’ Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
