Business Analyst (DPS)

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Business Analyst (DPS) to join our team. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of four (4) years of experience In the field or related technology field as senior level business analyst Minimum of three (3) years of experience with working knowledge of Agile project management methodology/practices PREFERRED Minimum of one (1) year of experience with the following: Understanding and documentation of use cases Process documentation mapping RESPONSIBILITIES Support current projects and priorities in the facilitation of gathering themes, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and analysis of existing requirements documentation. Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities. Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model. DELIVERABLES Creating themes, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria according to standards. Convert existing use cases to actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira. Analyze existing process documentation and document potential opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Support development and implementation of various initiatives.
