Business Analyst – Enterprise Systems & Process Optimization
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (Eastern Time)
Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred)
Engagement Type: Contract with strong potential for long-term conversion
About the Opportunity
CornerStone is supporting a large enterprise organization focused on improving business operations through process optimization, system enhancements, and data-driven decision-making. This role provides hands-on exposure to complex business environments and close collaboration with cross-functional and technology teams.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support scalable solutions and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions across multiple functional areas
• Partner with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, refine, and validate business requirements
• Translate business needs into structured documentation such as user stories, functional requirements, process flows, and data mappings
• Support initiatives involving new system capabilities, enhancements, and operational improvements
• Contribute to project delivery through documentation management, dependency tracking, and progress reporting
• Assist with the implementation of new processes, tools, and solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Collaborate in Agile or hybrid delivery environments; experience writing Jira stories or issues is a plus
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical and Analytical Nice-to-Haves
• Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, or requirements lifecycle management
• Experience supporting enterprise systems, platforms, or large-scale business initiatives
