Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Onsite 5 Days a Week) Duration: 1 yr, plus extension Rate: $W2 + CHP Start Date: October 2025 Summary: The business analyst is a member of PALM remediation team. They will be expected to work across multiple business units to perform business and detailed systems analysis activities and tasks. They will coordinate with subject matter experts to document requirements. They will also develop test plans, perform test/quality assurance activities and closely coordinate with other remediation team members. Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement. Experience: 1. A minimum of 5 years of Business Process Analysis and systems analysis is required. 1. Proficiency in process mapping/modeling with tools such as Visio is required. 1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required. 1. Proficiency in writing SQL Queries and performing Data Analysis is required. 1. Experience working with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired. 1. Technical Experience (programming or operations) working in IBM Mainframe, Distributed, and Cloud computing environments is highly desired. 1. Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code, is desired. 1. Knowledge of data migration is desired. 1. Knowledge of change and release management is desired. 1. Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques is desired. 1. Preference will be given to candidates with agile project experience and use of Azure DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs.
