Role description
Summary: The Business Analyst supports multiple customer groups and therapeutic areas by leveraging advanced statistical and analytical methodologies to measure marketing performance and optimize strategic decision-making. The role involves using sophisticated techniques—such as marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling—to assess and enhance marketing effectiveness across various channels, including digital, virtual, and in-person engagement. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven insights inform business strategy, resource allocation, and brand planning. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct advanced analytics to evaluate promotional strategies, marketing ROI, and resource allocation across multiple customer and digital channels. • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and align business tactics that support overall brand and commercial objectives. • Generate actionable insights from complex data sets to guide decision-making and improve marketing performance. • Integrate findings from various sources—such as marketing research, campaign data, and forecasting—into clear, strategic recommendations. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate analytical results effectively and ensure insights are applied to planning and execution. • Build expertise in analytical methodologies and digital analytics, sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement across teams. • Support the evolution of business processes by applying data-driven solutions to enhance promotional planning and execution. Qualifications: • Education: • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant analytical experience, or • Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and statistical modeling. • Proven experience analyzing large datasets (e.g., de-identified patient claims, marketing campaign data). • Strong proficiency in advanced analytics tools such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Demonstrated ability to apply multivariate and promotional responsiveness techniques. • Experience with digital marketing analytics (e.g., email, banner, mobile, and alerts) and campaign optimization. • Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to work standard business hours aligned with the EST time zone.
