This contracting opportunity offers a pivotal role in the migration of HMRC's SAS estate to SAS Viya 4 on DPS AWS, providing a chance to work on a large-scale, impactful project. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition, utilizing your expertise in business analysis and SAS technologies to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The role promises significant engagement with key stakeholders and exposure to advanced cloud platforms and agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams during the migration of HMRC's SAS estate to SAS Viya 4 on DPS AWS. • Engage with HMRC business areas to capture functional and non-functional requirements for migration. • Produce detailed process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria for migration activities. • Act as the primary point of contact for business teams, ensuring clear communication of migration plans and timelines. • Collaborate with Test Manager to define UAT scope and support defect triage and resolution. What You'll Need: • Strong experience in business analysis within large-scale data or analytics platform migrations. • Requirements elicitation and stakeholder management in complex environments. • Knowledge of SAS technologies (SAS 9.4, SAS Viya 3.x/4) and analytical workflows. • Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools (Jira, Confluence). • Data governance, compliance, and security frameworks experience. • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
