Business Analyst

Capstone IT is helping one of our premier clients to hire a Business Analyst for a short-term contract. This contract will run through the end of 2025 with probability of extensions. The main focuses of this role will be to clean up backlog and gather requirements, however other duties will be incorporated. • • • Please note, this role is onsite in Omaha, Nebraska. Local candidates will receive preference. Key Responsibilities • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements; translate them into functional specifications and process flows. • Analyze workflows and data flows to identify and implement improvements. • Develop and execute test cases; validate solutions against requirements. • Prepare clear reports and documentation for stakeholders. ODI-Specific Duties • Review and refine data flows and mappings for accuracy and efficiency. • Remove outdated interfaces, data feeds, and obsolete user accounts. • Maintain documentation of clean-up activities and coordinate updates with relevant teams. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. • Experience with Oracle Data Integrator. • 5+ years’ experience in business or systems analysis, preferably with operational data systems. • Strong knowledge of data integrity, governance, and documentation best practices. • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Visio, and requirements management tools. Preferred Skills • Experience with SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Familiarity with operational data flows, compliance, and Agile methodologies.
