Role description
Role: Business Analyst with Golden Source New Jersey/New York Key Responsibilities: • Gather and document business requirements for reference data systems, focusing on GoldenSource implementations. • • Work closely with business stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Risk, Front Office) to identify needs and provide scalable solutions. • • Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and workflows. • • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of business rules and processes in GoldenSource. • • Perform gap analysis between current and target state processes. • • Support testing efforts including UAT planning, execution, and issue tracking. • • Maintain GoldenSource configuration including rules, workflows, and data models as needed. • • Create and maintain system documentation, training materials, and support knowledge bases. • • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT for data quality, governance, and integration projects. Required Skills and Experience: • 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry. • • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Golden Source or similar EDM platforms. • • Strong understanding of financial reference data (e.g., securities, instruments, issuers, prices, corporate actions). • • Proficient in writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows. • • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage. • • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data analysis is a plus.
