Role description
Job Title: Product Owner / Business Analyst
Location: London
Position Type: Contract
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- 7–12 years across product and business analysis roles in enterprise B2B delivery (consulting, system integrators, or in-house enterprise IT).
- Enterprise stakeholder management expertise: confident presenting to CxO-level sponsors, navigating complex client organizations, and steering sprint reviews—even when things get tough.
- Agile fluency: deep knowledge of Scrum/SAFe, mastery of Jira and Confluence, and a proven track record of running predictable sprints across distributed teams.
- SQL proficiency: able to independently query SAM/data warehouses to validate business questions. Joins, window functions, and aggregations are second nature—you don’t need a data engineer to answer “do we even have this data?”
- Functional literacy across the stack: while you don’t code, you can read architecture diagrams, follow sequence flows, and reason about issues across UI, API, and data layers.
- Data pipeline & warehousing knowledge: understand fact tables, incremental loads, schema changes, and have ideally partnered with analytics platform teams (Acuity, Power BI, Synapse, Snowflake, etc.).
- AI/ML functional awareness: capable of scoping LLM features, understanding RAG and embeddings, spotting hallucination issues, and challenging vague engineering estimates. (Builder-level depth not required.)
- SAM/ITAM domain knowledge: entitlements vs. inventory, reconciliation logic, compliance and true-up, contract lifecycle, publisher rationalization.
Nice-to-Have
- Deep expertise in Software Asset Management, contract management, procurement, or licensing.
- Familiarity with the Azure stack (Functions, Synapse, AI Search, Document Intelligence).
- Prior experience as the vendor-side counterpart to a client PO in multi-year transformations.
- Exposure to SAM analytics products.
Regards
Anita
