Business Analyst – TMS Implementation Project Contract Remote Brooksource is hiring a Business Analyst to join a leading distribution company committed to delivering excellence across their supply chain network. With a customer-first approach and a focus on innovation, we are implementing a new Transportation Management System (TMS) to optimize logistics operations and drive efficiency. We’re looking for a versatile and experienced Business Analyst to play a critical role in this strategic transformation. Position Summary As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a key liaison between our PMO and Product teams to support the successful implementation of our new TMS. You will be responsible for bridging communication gaps, gathering and validating business requirements, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience in logistics, supply chain systems, and enterprise-level project execution. Key Responsibilities β€’ Act as the primary liaison between the PMO and Product teams for the TMS implementation project. β€’ Gather, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and user needs. β€’ Translate complex technical and operational requirements into clear, actionable documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Collaborate with IT, operations, and vendor teams to support system configuration, integration, and testing activities. β€’ Facilitate workshops, meetings, and status updates with stakeholders to drive alignment and resolve issues. β€’ Assist in defining KPIs, success metrics, and post-implementation evaluation criteria. β€’ Support change management, training, and communication efforts to ensure successful user adoption. β€’ Identify project risks and assist in mitigation planning. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field. β€’ 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment. β€’ Experience working on or supporting Transportation Management System (TMS) implementations strongly preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP TM, Manhattan, MercuryGate). β€’ Proven experience collaborating with both PMO and Product/Business teams on enterprise projects. β€’ Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid). β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at stakeholder management. β€’ Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Microsoft Project. β€’ Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
