Title: Business Analyst (IT)
Location: Quincy, MA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst with Project Management skills to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who excels at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, project planning, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance, with a proven ability to drive projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
β’ Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews to elicit business and system requirements.
β’ Develop use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
β’ Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.
Project Planning & Execution:
β’ Manage deliverables for each release
β’ Manage backlogs and continually work with Product owner and larger Project team to prioritize
β’ Ensure project scope, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
Stakeholder Management:
β’ Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership.
β’ Conduct regular status meetings and presentations to communicate progress and manage expectations.
β’ Address and resolve stakeholder concerns proactively.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
β’ Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
β’ Monitor project quality and ensure timely resolution of issues and defects.
Skills & Qualifications:
β’ 8+ years of experience in business analysis and project management skills will be a plus.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Kanban).
β’ Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
β’ Technical knowledge of business applications and systems.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
