Role description
General InformationProvides functional support for the core HR system (Oracle HRMS) with a focus on local and regional HR business needs. Responsible for basic setup, mass updates, data audits, reporting and some end-user issue resolution. Provides excellent customer service to the end-user community including providing instruction on HR systems processes. Ensures consistency in process utilization and a high level of data accuracy and compliance.
Responsible for partnering with business/user group representatives to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs, then translating those needs into formal, documented business requirements. May be responsible for prioritizing requirements based on business benefit/impact and cost. May be required to develop estimates and plan resource effort. May be responsible for identifying and tracking issues and risks related to project or system. May be responsible for fulfilling project management/governance responsibilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills; Decisive decision-making; Negotiation skills; Relationship management; Prioritization skills; Project management lifecycle skills; Issue management resolution.
Key Accountabilities
Data Fixes/Updates - analyzes data fix requests to determine how to correct information in HRMS. Updates HRMS with data fix and response to end user within the defined team SLA.
Mass Updates - reviews mass update requests for accuracy and approval. Works with end user to resolve any errors with the mass update. Processes mass update within defined team SLA. Participates in testing for mass update customizations.
Basic Setup - responsible for basic setup requests for supporting countries including jobs, and positions. Confirms request is valid before processing.
General Support - assists with general user support including process and system questions, coaching/training on how to use the system, and user errors. Analyzes requests and provides accurate responses within the defined team SLA.
Audits - analyzes data audits from the system to determine how to resolve the issue. Takes action to resolve the data audit in a timely manner.
Interfaces β Supports daily interface file save maintenance.
Workflow Monitoring - provides support to end user questions related to workflow and approvals. Reviews supervisor and security setup to respond and assist with user issues and questions.
Reporting β understands and delivers recurring/ad-hoc reports to end users within the team defined SLA.
Stakeholder Management - works to understand customer needs and meet SLAs.
Training - shares templates, training manuals and reference guides with end users. Provides input on updates to materials as needed when policies and processes change.
Experiences desired1-3 yrs experience in maintaining HR/Payroll systems in a corporate environment1-3 years experience in maintaining an integrated HRMS application supporting multi-state or international locations1-3 years management reporting on a relational databaseParticipation on system implementations or upgrades1-2 years working in a HR/IT call center or help desk
